It has nothing to do with trust. At this stage of their development he's not who I'm going to listen to, period. If a stock goes from nothing to the stratosphere in no time at all, I'm more likely to make a decision to either hold, sell or buy based on overall market conditions than what some president on an on-line auction company caught in the middle of a frenzy might say about his own company's earnings. Intel/Compaq is a different league.
