Hell, even Merrill Lynch couldn't convince the media to say that internet stocks had huge discrepancies in the way they were valued..outright -fraud- occurred with AMZN. Remember it?? Nope, story too convoluted for general distribution.

I wouldn't bet on the media to bail me out.
I don't think the three guys running WCAP are so foolish as to let the earnings get whipsawed as you suggest. If their P/E is truly reportable last qtr according to GAAP as 13 (current val at 59 stock price) I think they will sustain a similiar value next qtr.."whatever it takes" IMHO
