This discussion has made me think about my exposure to SRAM and ISSI. I can't simply accept the thought of SRAM getting extinct, and the companies doing nothing about their future. I have written to ISSI, to request info on what is happening with SRAM and how are they responding. I don't think the SRAM companies are on a suicidal mission - building fabs!!! They have very strong finances, to figure something for their future, and make it happen; and, like I said, FUNDS are BUYING into these stocks, and funds they are that are not throwing money out!!!!
Think about this analogy - two weeks ago Intel and Microsoft were all but written off - you see, an Internet access device would be all we need in the future, so why do we need PC, microprocessors and operating systems?????......
Well, analog and linear technologies were also pronounced dead by pundits some time ago, but they actually flourish now, don't they?
As for CATS, I have already built up a BIG position by buying at 6 3/4 and 7. I need the stock to pull up further, to create more equity in my account, so I can buy even more on MARGIN.
