Roo and St. Pepper: I Agree. The MMs traded on over 5 million shares in five business days. While there was a lot of selling into the wave while the buying was going on, I'm always afraid they are shorting and will lower the price to cause a sell off. Perhaps they are also trying to stock up for the next run up. I've been unable to get in contact with anyone at the main office other then Diedra, who is lovely to talk to but does not or will not give up any dirt on which stadiums/games we will see in the near future. The big guys are all out doing their thing. I can only speculate that more games will follow (hopefully soon) and believe the MMs probably know this as well (maybe better then we do). If this is true, perhaps they are causing a dip, stocking up, and then we do a game or games, and now they are set to let the stock run, making loads of cash off us in the process. I've heard from some that take the approach that these dips are a buying opportunity and they are buying slowly. They feel that by buying now they are beating the MMs at their own game. All this cat and mouse sh*t can drive you nuts. I just want the MMs to leave us alone and let the stock go under the nice buying pressure we saw last week and Monday. I'm confident we will see it back as soon as we start appearing on TV a bit more. In a discussion I had with a buddy with a bit more experience in this than I (well, he says he has more), He believes that if we were on the Nasdaq, we would have been over $4.00 by now, but that the MMs have too much control on the BB. Long range dream: By the end of May, we are in and on al major stadiums in the big markets with the rest done by mid June. During which we nail some of these other deals we've been talking about (ACTV/Internet, Choice Seat, etc.) Then let's not forget about Tennis. Although that sport is not as popular as baseball (across the U.S., I don't want to debate one sport verse another), I believe Tennis has a wider International appeal. There are international tournements and world feeds that con stimulate interest in a wide spectrum of markets. If we can Tennis in to some of the big opens, maybe even a Grand Slam or two, together with ever growing use of the Basbeall products, perhaps we can dream that we will have the price and stability to make the leap from the BB to Nasdaq. Then we'd be smoking!!! |
