DirecPC is for Internet Access, not TV I'm sure you can use a TV card with a Dish based system, I just don't have much experience with it, sorry. I use the Hauppague TV card with a 75ohm Ariel, but the 22" Dish works with my ISP to speed up my Internet Connection about tenfold. you can read my discussion of this product; Subject 18293
