Scott, I would suggest you check out your information and call either the companies communications dept. or call the pres. yourself (he is very approachable). To answer your question now from my perspective which isn't saying much - the sofc that GLE has runs at a lower temperature and provides more power (what is the temperature of the exhaust coming off a 200HP internal combustion engine (4,6,8 cylinder) it is very high. The heat is not the issue - the issue is retrofitting existing technology with a higher efficiency pollutant free product. GUESS WHAT - GLE DID THAT APRIL 8TH. With one swipe they have redrawn the landscape and jumped in front of BALLARD and their own projections for themselves! We all here should be pushing Jim Perry for a News Release on details and calculations as to exactly what the cost is per kilowatt and how much cheaper these are going to be for the consumer and in terms of production. I know that the cost/kilowatt was a concern - but from what I have read here and at the other sites that is no long a GLE concern. IT IS DEFINATELY A BALLARD CONCERN!!!!!!
