I agree that this is what is happening ie MM are dropping the price to scare up some cheap shares to resell later on expected bigger demand at much higher prices. The system should be set up to prevent this from being possible ie only arms length supply-demand factors should influence the price movements. As it is now only the stubborn determination of all holders to not be influenced to sell by the manipulative intra-marketmaker trading the price down can prevent the price from being artificially depressed. This is all my opinion as to how the system works.
