Well BBT was basically 'hired' to develop systems for both of the companies. Bosch and BBT were supposed to develop a fiber-based platform and Lucent and BBT are supposed to be working on developing LU's AnyMedia access platform. What exactly has come of this is not known since the stockholders have been really left in the dark about progress on these platforms. I would assume that BBT is still working on the technology and probably holding back on any announcement until they have something concrete to report. PR's in the past have done nothing but drive BBTK up on idle speculation just to see the stock come crashing down after the fact. I am really in this one just to buy near $1 and sell near $4 (in the absence of motivating news). If you were Bosch or Lucent would you buy this company ? Maybe in the future if BBT comes through with a genuine product or cutting-edge technology, we will hear about the possibility of a takeover. I don't see that anytime soon, honestly.
