AT&T Wireless Local Loop system will operate at 1.9 GHz PCS frequencies in the 10 MHz licenses they bought that cover 93% of US population. They can provide up to 128 kb/sec speeds. Will roll out next year on big scale. Why does AT&T need Winstar when AT&T already owns its own 38 Ghz channels?? And FCC is getting set to auction another couple thousand more channels around the country? I'm awful nervous at this point. Too much spectrum, not enough profit.
