As I understand it, when the stock becomes worthless, it still has worth under US tax law. You can write off $3,000 per year until it's gone. But you must have written confirmation of it's worthlessness. Right now, all I got is a "no price" line item on my statements. This can't go on forever. So, when do it go fo'good?
