mark, I use 3 com and cisco and talk to a lot of heavy weight network people.
3 com and cisco are premier and have the best performance.
I would look a the jan 99 45 leap on coms . that is the best pick.
cost about 10 a share.
I would wait alittle longer.
the issue is intel putting the pc card that 3 com makes as part of it's pc chips.
that may be why 3 com is down more.
but3 com can win on switches..they don't need that NIC card in pc to win.
