I tbink the only difference between this and an off the shelf Globalstar phone (besides cellular vs. satcom) is the software that makes the phone tell you where it is. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the Globalstar phones gave you your global position as well. (Unless I've been misinformed, the satellites and the phones know where the phone is so that they can handle handoff.) And the Globalstar system won't suffer from Selective Availibility like GPS does. Good point, Snow Shoe. Hope these features will definately be in there. Dragonfly
