EyeDrMike,

Your name just reminded me I have to make another attempt at seamless bifocals (I couldn't stand my first experience with them). I'm starting to develop a habit which has a lot of people amazed at what I'm emailing them at work: I have my company as one of the CompanySleuth tracking stocks and I watch the patent applications and then when I find one that fits a particular associate's interests, I email them. I have gotten some of the greatest responses you could imagine! Professional people absolutely love it when someone sends them a focussed piece of information about their own company (rather than relying on grapevines!). I have done this maybe a dozen times and every single time I've done this, people will respond positively. You know how a lot of times people never acknowledge email, right? Thing is, ElectricLibrary is even better and people who've never used it just wouldn't understand; it is the best web-based knowledge base I've used (actually it's the only one, I don't know of any competition to Infonautics except for that other company that was created by one of the former Infonauts, the name escapes me, it doesn't seem to get the attention that Electric Library does).

Take care,
Dave
