Interesting article from the other thread: exchange2000.com Don't I recall one of Buffets tenets up to now being, buy US? Perhaps he's gone to the UK to find an economy as open as the US but perhaps less richly valued. Seems like a major step for him. I wonder if we'll see an acquisition or just a quiet investment in a big company? He might buy and insurer outright, but a Coke-like stake seems unlikely. Guiness/Diageo isn't exactly executing to perfection either... Richard
