I think you're wrong. They stated that the reason they were doing this was to end speculation. It was not a planned announcement but an impromptu assurance that the analyst was misguided. DELL's was a planned conference that people knew well in advance. The paradigm has shifted from earnings to revenue. LU will kick butt.
