Acquisition annoucements would be better served to follow a good quarterly showing to appease the acquiring shareholders. This means if there is a good showing, acquisition could soon follow (double bonus), if there is a bad showing, no acquisitions are likely (double negative). Sounds like a stop loss is in order on the 22nd for you acquisition hopers.

Unlikely scenario: Bad showing followed by acquisition. Makes no sense.

That's my 2 cents worth.
