Slightly Off Topic

Clark, all:

A friend of mine is getting ready to purchase a cell phone and I recommended to her either Sprint PCS or Bell Atlantic(they are the only 2 CDMA providers, btw, I would've recommended AT&T, however it is more expensive now and my voice quality is going down the toilet). We both liked sprint for its price, however, she would be roaming where she works, therefore Sprint PCS is out of the question. We chose to go with Bell Atlantic for a provider. Now, when we went to the Bell Atlantic store, they had a Digital Star Tac (which is out of the question, too much $$$), some Sony phone and that old Nokia model. The salesman referred us to a LG-300C, which was priced at 129.99 I inquired about a QCP-2700 (forgive me if that isn't the correct model), but was informed that Bell Atlantic no longer uses Qualcomm phones and does not expect any in for a couple (read 2-3) months. Question: Do any of you know any information about this LG-300C? Good/Bad? Salesman said something like 5 hours talk, about 60-65 standby.

Thanks for the comments in advance.
