For as long as I remember, 5% +/- in a day has been characteristic of SEPR in time of market mood swing. Unfortunately, this recent wave of "prozac news immigrants" since January has added excessively to the volatility. Some of them immigrants will stay and prosper while others will continue to go in and out, taking the rest of us up and down (net worth and emotion and the size of my future yacht) in the process. Call me crazy but I will convert more of my commons to LEAPs if this continues. That way, I reduce the tax I have to pay, decrease my margin exposure and increase the number of shares I will convert in 2001. Like I said last October, I will just sit on my ass and wait.
