Jason Zandberg, an analyst at Pacific International Securities who follows the industry at large, pointed out there has been a rush by stock players to buy up shares in Internet companies, creating a so-called ''bubble'' in the market.

Investors seem to be banking on expectations that the online world, and its seemingly endless possibilities for shopping, stock trading, entertainment and information gathering, will create riches for related firms.

However, ''this is a large investment bubble that's starting to get overinflated,'' Zandberg warned.
