Raccoons are so cute. We have raccoons around here, just not in our yard. Once upon a time, there was even a big, nasty possum, but I haven't seen it for a while, either. We don't even have crows in our yard.

Speaking of raccoons, I know something mean to do to a raccoon - - feed it sugar cubes. They wash everything before they eat it, and the sugar cubes keep dissolving, and they look so perplexed, but they can't help themselves, it's instinctive. Metaphoric for something, probably you could generalize something like being attracted to the wrong women (not you, of course!) or the wrong stocks or something.

It wouldn't seem so mean if the raccoon has trashed your place.
