Tony George President and CEO Of Indianapolis Motor Speedway expanded the speedway operations to include NASCAR the fastest grownig spectator sport in the world, and this year is building a F1 coarse. Penske and George had a falling out, and George started his own League the Indy Racing League. Penske took his organization and left, and tried to run head to head at Michigan with the Indy 500 that effort was a total flop. The two organizations are once again talking to try and come to an understanding that will benefit the fans.. One thing is for certain... No One, I repeat No One is bigger than the Indianapolis 500, and Penske found that out... As A J Foyt said Indianapolis made A J Foyt, A J Foyt did not make Indianapolis... Sprintcar
