Speaking of wildlife (is that Southlake too?) I saw a fresh roadkill coyote today. Big male, handsome in a cadaverish sorta way. I remember just a couple years ago when all the Milwaukee 'burbs were vehemently denying that there were "coyotes" in the bottomlands. Then a suburban pochief went out one fine morning to find a couple of the nonexistent critters finishing their pochief's puppy breakfast.

I like 'em. They keep the rodentia and other pests way low and make the crows keep their heads down.
