Ms. Michele Jones reports
The private placement of 555,556 flow-through shares at 45 cents per share
has closed. The placement was reduced from 666,667 flow-through shares. The
shares are subject to a four month hold period, expiring July 11, 1999. The
proceeds are intended to be used to finance exploration work on the
Sheraton-Timmins property in Ontario and on other Canadian properties.
