J.Y., I call that hindsight investing. When you figure out how to know which stock will be up 800% a year from now, I would be most interested. I will let you know if I figure it out. BTW, the tax due is still a liability. The only difference in net worth between a trader with $600k of gains after paying the taxes and an investor with $1000k in unrealized gains is that the investor has yet to write the check. Barb
