Two years ago I used TaxCut software from Kiplinger and last year I used TurboTax. This year I am using Kiplinger again and trying to file electronically but having no luck thus far. Well at least I have hard copies. My state copy prep was very easy as it automatically came from the Fed data.

I guess my biggest peeve is that nothing is working as I expect it to. Although this package has some great features including being able to keep notes as you go along... something I need to remember what I did. Also, I like the audit features and the prompts and suggestions... TurboTax had some good stuff in it last year. But one of the best things was I imported data from LAST year's return as the basis for this which reduced time in doing stuff like filling in W-2 info etc.

So I am pretty much finished except for the filing... hope I can file mine electronically!
