The golden cross as defined in my previous post sends a strong buy signal (i.e., golden buy op.). It applies to any stocks (though for a perfect prediction, some other factors might be taken into account).

For example,
Yahoo had a "Golden Cross" in the beginning of 97 (aroun $10), and it never looked back again.

After T had a cross at 35, it ran up to 65. Then it had another cross at 60, it again went to 90.

Another example, ORCL:
Golden cross at 18, then went to 40.

Final example, IDTC:
It had a golden cross in 97 under $10, then it shot up to $40!!!

Normally, I would add more shares after the "Golden Cross", which confirms a strong upward movement!!!
