Dreyfus is a plain vanilla broker. Their commissions are middle range for internet brokers. Screens are fast, but executions are not the fastest. (Took 12 minutes for a confirmation for a trade at 3:44pm...confirmed at 3:56pm). Phone reps are neither polite nor rude, expect 1 to 5 minutes on hold. No real time quotes (only available during the confirmation of an order). Good for the occasional trader, not for daytraders.
