Yesterday Ms.Sue Coleman of Altamira Special Growth fund gave a seminar in Toronto on the fund (she manages it, picks the stocks---136 of them). One of the stocks she favored in Bio was Synsorb, the other was Micrologix Biotech, which she explained, extends antibiotic drug patent life by twiddling the molecules to make them work a little better, a little longer. Big pharmaco's are grateful.
Some people rush right out to buy stocks if a fund manager 'likes them'.

Since this stock is mostly new to me, I want to study it a bit before buying anything. Hope this thread helps me decide on buying or not.
