PARAW: last .18 up 1700%! bid .09 ask .19 vol 65,000 terms expire jan 23 2001 1 wt + 4 bucks = 1 share so, at current para value, warrants are trading only on expectation of future. But if you are right, and PARA has announcements in the near future and spikes, the warrants quickly accrue value at anywhere over 4. If you buy para at roughly 2.25, and it spikes to 8 on news, you have 3 1/2 times your money. If you buy the warrant at .2 and it goes to 4(fair value if stock is at 8) you have 20x cash. I think I am going to buy. Obviously someone has the same idea. The wide spread doesn't scare me, as it will be trivial if PARA spikes. Since the warrants don't expire for almost two years, that is plenty of time for para to make a run.
