my mistake was assuming this thread to be a form of
research... not good at reading 10Q's... press reports
"dd" as PEratio, checked and found net loss of $60m for
1998... thought it was still fledgling with massive
investments in ploughbacks and a couple years from real
substantial profit... almost every single item of info I have found on UNPH in the last two weeks pertains to very technical product line, advantages, competitive edge, positioning for next decade, difficult optics, some physics... alll of which is where UNPH is extremely impressive... understand some even
I repeat to you that you offered absolutely no useful
information in two messages now... check the other thread for helpful and maybe less snooty posts... couple took more than a few seconds to offer helpful info
you suggest I do some basic research... I have on product not financals... I suggest you do some basic restraint... if I had read my message in your place, I would first not have insulted, second offered a couple tidbits of info, third assumed perhaps novice investor, fourth explained operating profit versus net profit (which I do understand)
I know threads can be used to distort... not my
purpose... quote websites dont often go back to three
months ago for earnings reports... been checking on quite a few companies lately, and have only begun to dig into a few that seem very promising like UNPH
