Robert - WinHec News -K7 will *start* at 500MHz

From same PCWeek article:
Due in June, the K7 will start at 500MHz and support between 512KB and 8MB of Level 2 cache. It will also utilize the EV6 front side bus, licensed from Digital Equipment Corp., running at 200MHz.

Now what does this mean? Will start at? Are they going to release more than one speed grade, or is this the release speed? Why can't these guys just come out and say it. It's April. THEY KNOW!
