The MM knows that his tactic won't fail because he realizes that the float is very small and that institutions continue to buy in whatever large blocks they can find available. That is why these blocks are normally sold at about $1-2 above market trading prices. Furthermore and with the lack of any substantiative news, the MM has a couple of days to exercise his gimick. Let's watch the activity between tomorrow and Friday. Good Luck.
