I spoke with management at the company today in regards to some of the concerns you raised: Dr. George Langdon, Phd., PGeo., the consulting geologist for Mobil, is solely in charge of the drilling program for Newfoundland and will soon be officially named to the Board of Directors of Pan Ocean. IMO this adds much more integrity to the company and the play. He is speaking at the Delta St. John's Hotel this Thursday at 6 PM. I've got some info on slimhole drilling from Dr. Langdon. Mobil has approved of this relatively new technology and the Newfoundland government would accept it for a two year extension to the exploration permit. Jack Singer is a partner in Roger's Brokerage in Calgary and his wealth has been made in the oil patch. Rob McIntosh is VP-Exploration on the mining side only. The Pan Ocean release was written up in the Daily Oil Bulletin last Tuesday, April 6, 1999. nickles.com
