So to TJ, hey thanks for the CPQ recommendation. If it wasn't for that I'd be drinking Dom right now. Every other investment I had went straight up. But what the hell. It's actually a buy now, right? And a tax write-off. Well we all make mistakes. No offence meant.
Okay gang, here's my picks: surefire easy money in next two weeks (BKS, ONEM, NAVR, FATB, CDNW, AFCI, quality Y2K's, ELNK, DCTI), in next few months (ORCL, COMS). Within 9 months CPQ.
If the market tanks buy more. If only we had unlimited cash. Well, some of you do these days.
I'd really like to be longterm holder but I'm impatient. My old man owns Lucent at $2 a share. 4,000 shares of it cost him $8,000 back in the 70's. He holds for 29 years. Wow. Something to think about.
My one warning. Avoid or short KLOC which is a run-up hyped-up little company which lost 6 mill last quarter. Before SEARCH the whole company probably wasn't even worth 6 mill. Also if they make money they'll just pocket it probably. So do you DD (not that I always do but) and play it smart.
No position in KLOC, but in all the others. Think positive in today's market. At least for awhile. |
