I am old enough to have witnessed some of the excesses committed by the Left in its opposition to the Vietnam War. I do not think that we are at the point where it is appropriate to speak in such terms of duly constituted authority, even though one might think ill of those holding office and their policies, or we can kiss democracy goodbye. All lawful opposition, fine, but analogies to Nazi Germany serve no good purpose...
