Give me a break! COMS competitive position is weakening because of of the threat from Intel in low-end ethernet cards. I don't see how the merger changes the picture. USRX's 56k modem has a lead of only a few months. This too is a low margin item. I don't see the same multiple as CSCO when CSCO has an 80% market share in routers.

Will COMS shorts scramble to cover? That remains to be seen. USRX shorts, maybe. But the upside is limited if COMS doesn't follow suit.
