i haven't taken the shorter trips since they are so close in price to the 7 day. i guess if you just dont have a week, the shorter is the way to go. i suspect the short "cruise to nowhere" might be more roudy than the seven day cruise. British dealers are also on the big boat and they are fast as well. watched a professional card player named tommy venus work the black jack table. he could keep up, but it was no place for the faint of heart. i guess the faster they work - the more the house can make. i donated to the little music boxes in the casino - they weren't much of a value - you put in .75 and they only play a 3 second tune. ha - As for drinks - i drank anything from scotch to beer and judi drank cokes and b&b - cokes were $1.50 and a b&b was $3 something.... bar scotch was under 3 and they had a great large bottle of german beer for under 3. We would spend about $15 a day on drinks all day long and the tip was included. two scotchs and a couple of beers was good enough for me. They had a repeaters get together with the captain and we had about 6 free drinks at that deal.
the seven day seems like the best value - our food was great - five opportunities to eat with a midnite ethnic buffet. Why you could blow up like a balloon.
judi and i are going on the 7 day to key west in october - commodore has news too . . . . they have secured a new route - with the new ship - stock should rise - i hope. remember you get a shareholders discount from commodore - but dont tell everyone
