I too am a new subscriber and fan. The letter is much more than I thought it would be in its depth.

Now a practical question. Given the revolution you see in communication delivery, is now the time to sign a multi year contract with a telephone service provider. A competitor to Ameritech is offering some attractive long term service and long distance rates for terms of 1 to 7 years.
