''For a number of reasons, the Board determined that the departure of our CFO was in the best interests of the Company,'' stated Gordon Bridge, ConnectInc.com's Chairman of the Board. ''We would like to reassure investors that this action does not relate to concern regarding the accuracy of the Company's financial reporting. We have already commenced the search for a successor.''
''We are delighted to have Joe Bentzel join our leadership team,'' said Craig Norris, President and CEO. ''In my opinion he is one of the clearest thinkers on the impact of the Internet in the overall 'e-conomy,' and will make a significant impact on our market positioning going forward.
