Just wondering,

Iomega Refurbished products:

I just got a TigerDirect.com catalog and they have a whole page of Iomega refurbished products for sale. Among other things, they have an Iomega refurbished Buz device advertised for $59.99 after a $30 mail-in rebate expiring 4/30/99.....The first time I've seen a refurbished one of these for sale.

Refurbished external parallel port 100 Mb Zip drives are also $59.99. They even have refurbished Ditto drives in there.

I know someone who bought a refurbished external parallel port 100 Mb Zip drive about a year ago for $89 plus shipping (a Zip tools disk was included). Recently, he also bought a refurbished external 1 Gb Jaz drive for $160 plus shipping (a refurbished Jaz tools disk was included).

Iomega surely doesn't refurbish and resell all these products for their health. I wonder how much profit they make on all this stuff? I suspect the profit margin percentage is pretty high.
