National Bank Chooses Microforum's CALMS Solution
TORONTO, April 14 /CNW/ - Microforum Inc. (TSE:MCF) is pleased to
announce that National Bank has chosen Software Guaranty's CALMS solution.
Software Guaranty is a division of Internet Frontier Inc. (iFront), a wholly
owned subsidiary of Microforum.
The solution is a web enabled credit origination solution that sits
on-line with various distribution channels, allowing potential purchasers to
go from credit check to vendor payment in less than 20 minutes. This process
includes documentation and allows the vendor to take a credit application, get
approval, complete the documents and submit them to National all in a seamless
credit environment.
Software Guaranty, who built the product, grew up in the equipment
leasing industry. The Software Guaranty solution was first released to this
industry in 1998 and won the best infrastructure award from Microsoft Canada
for 1998. In addition, Software Guaranty was one of three finalists world
wide from Microsoft for the Best Solution by an independent solution provider,
as well as the best structured work flow product for its document management
handling.
