ART COMPLETES LICENSE ACQUISITION

Advanced Radio Telecom (ART) yesterday completed the acquisitions
of 38 GHz licenses from CommcoCCC Inc. and Extended
Communications Inc.

With these licenses, ART now owns, manages or has rights to 233
licenses covering a population of 156 in 169 major markets across
the United States.

The 129 CommcoCCC licenses were bought for 6 million shares of
ART stock. The price for Extended Communications' assets was $6
million in cash.
