HERE IS ETRASH'S EXCUSE FOR THEIR CONTINUED PROBLEMS, LIKE TODAY..

Thank you for your recent email to E*TRADE concerning difficulties you may have had trying to access our system. We have been expanding our systems capacity exponentially every day, to handle the greatly increased activity by our members and customers. Our systems have been totally re-architected over the past 12 months so that transactions can be spread across our system to balance volume. As a result, we no longer have the need to bring our site down at any point to address any technical or volume-related issues. We believe this is a major enhancement for our members and customers.

Nevertheless, there have been some times during the past few weeks when a limited number of customers may have experienced access problems. You may have accessed a part of the system where the volume was being rerouted to another part of the system in an effort to speed up access and transaction processing. During this transition, access to the system may have been difficult for a short time.

If this has been your experience, may we extend our sincerest apologies. Even one instance of frustrating a member or customer is unacceptable to us. We are working around the clock to continue to smooth out our back-end systems so that any real-time refinements on our part are transparent to our members and customers. We appreciate your taking the time to let us know about your experience. Please feel free to contact us again at any time. We want to earn your business every day and make your E*TRADE experience a satisfying one.

Just like Slick Willie, talk about the "good things" before you talk about the bad things, and when you talk about the bad things, just lie about them!!!!

For the to say that a "limited number of customers may have experienced access problems" is an outright lie!!
