Firstly did you know that it was the U.S. that veto'ed the 200,000 ground troops that other NATO nations requested to start the conflict; according to Ralph Reed (MSNBC)? If those attrocities are/were really being committed then dropping bombs from 30,000 feet wouldn't save one Albanian from being shot in the back of the head in a ditch now would it ?

Let's analyze the major debacles so far :

1. Declare war through congress, bahh who cares I'm Clinton.
2. Oops two days of bombing isn't enough, what gives man?
3. Ooops refugees, that wasn't supposed to happen.
4. Ooops we need another 600 planes, guess we didn't plan it right.
5. Ooops, this thing is going to last 6 months now and cost 8 billion.

If we were going to "clean up" the Balkan mess we should have went in with ground troops and done it right. Rather we let a draft dodging politician run this campaign and turn it into the long dragged out nightmare.
When we go to war (when we drop bombs on another nation) we should be willing to spill our own blood and do it right. If we can't stomach the body bags coming back we shouldn't even be there.

If anything this thing has been a NATO-weakening event. Other nations now know NATO is too chicken to use ground forces !
