Some interesting numbers coming from @Home. Looks like they've got some pretty good sequential growth and good infrastructure build out to work from. Here's quote from the press release:

The company's subscriber base grew to 460,000 from 331,000 at the close of the final quarter last year. The number of homes with access to two-way cable increased to 15 million, up from 13.2 million last quarter.

I think the big question now will be whether or not these cable systems can be held private or if they have to be opened up to use by other ISP's. I think it clearly would be difficult for RBOC's to claim total ownership over xDSL capabilities. So how will Cable TV stop access to their network?

Again, this makes Sprint's acquisition of PCTV very interesting as they gain last mile access to huge population. PCTV is only small portion of the licenses for wireless cable service throughout the United States based on MMDS and LMDS.

Regards, Mark
