Someday We'll All Invest This Way. Yeah, when we're 102 years old and can hardly move. Here's the story of my attempt to place a trade at ETrade's sight. Just before this post. Fill in order page and click Preview Order. 30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and click again. 30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and click again. 30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and click again. 30 sec. later - Blank page appears. 30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page. 1 min. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page. 30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page. 30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page. 30 sec. later - Nothing changes. Stop and Reload page. 1 min. later - Preview Order page appears. 6 minutes trying to place a trade and I still haven't been able to send the order in! I'm can't even be bothered to do all the waiting and reloads to place the order and then wait 20 or 30 minutes for a confirmation. Datek here I come! $10.95 a trade. Confirmations within 1 minute or your trade is commission-free. Imagine THAT at ETrade, ha, ha, ha, ha.... Cheers, Bond
