You're right about insiders needs for selling shares. Consider though also, why would you sell shares if the company is going gangbusters and you know the share price will appreciate as it grows. The important thing to look for is volume, an unusually large amount of insider sales would be negative in my opinion.

Ross is a majority-owned subsidiary of Fujitsu, Ltd. who holds 62% of the stock. Sun Micro. holds 5%, 17% is held by employees and 16% is publicly traded.
