yes, i totally agree. the p.c. is now just a vehicle to get to the next generation of communication, etc... the internet. with all of the people using the internet now, and the rate it is growing, the p.c. is really worth nothing to a consumer but a couple hundred dollars. people are spending more and more money on the net, and personally i can not go one day without using it for at least 8 hours. and, i use everything it has to offer from auction sites, plane tickets, to business, and research. as far as i am concerned, the p.c. is dead for consumer and retail sectors.
