The line being that China would use nuclear weapons against Taiwan? Or that nukes would even be a credible threat? If you insist, I find that line somewhat less probable than JBL's "move on Taiwan by 2001" line. I don't think the Chinese are much into craziness these days, the fading gerontocracy doesn't have fond memories of the cultural revolution.
