Sportfish, The older BANY holders who got the dividend shares....have those shares in their accounts now....and I believe they are ready to be traded. My broker tells me mine are, anyhow. There were 200k distributed to roughly 350 shareholders......with at least 1/2 going back to insiders....who hold lots of BANY shares. And I know (old timer here) of several people who are large BANY holders who got perhaps 1/2 of the remaining 1/2. The rest are spread out in smaller amounts. The dividend worked out to 1 share of AI for each 45 shares of BANY held......So a person holding 45,000 shares of BANY, received 1,000 shares of Anything Internet. I'm not sure how many 45k+ shareholders there were at that time besides insiders.....I only know of about 10 or so. I think there would be about a hundred or so holders who may have 100 or 200 shares......and perhaps another hundred or so who have less than 100. Many of the shares that would be available for sale would need to be sold out of these accounts, I would think. Insiders and large dividend holders could also supply stock....but I'm not sure they will be willing to sell. Other than that....There is no IPO......so folks who wish to add to their dividend position or establish a position in Anything Internet, will need to buy the stock on the open market. I'm sure some people will sell...and stock will be available......Just don't know at what price. It should be an exciting day......I will be rounding up my dividend shares.......and hope others would consider doing the same. If they do, I think the stock will go up. I also don't know what new interest may show up on the first day or two......If there is money to be made...the traders will be there.....I feel certain about that. So playing BANY now, or even later...gives you a back door.....but you will not get possession of the 800k BANY owns unless BANY throws off another dividend.......Which they may sometime down the road. If they do......I think BANY stock would go up a lot on the news. Best of luck, bg
